ABOUT US

My name is Dick Oberle. My wife, Jutta, and I met here in Winter Park,
Colorado, in 1971. I was working as a ski instructor and Jutta had come from
Germany in order to help her aunt and uncle with their new ski lodge.

After a few years of us both working as ski instructors in Winter Park and Europe,
we settled in Düsseldorf, Germany, for twenty years. The language school and
children's clothing store we founded still exist and are doing well.

In 1989, we started Colorado Tours. We were the first to promote Colorado
in Germany. We are tour operators ­ organizing trips to Colorado for groups and
individuals.

Since moving back to Winter Park from Europe in 1994, Jutta has been
teaching skiing, and I started Colorado Tour Transportation after driving for the
local shuttle company for a few years. I saw a need for more than a shared ride
from the airport, running sometimes only once a day.

CTT has proven very popular with locals who might have doctors appointments,
etc., and tourists who appreciate a no-wait service with stops only where they want,
in safe vehicles with 4-wheel drive and studded snow tires.

Jutta helps as much as she can with driving, along with our other mature drivers with
many years of mountain driving experience. I also drive as much as I can, as we all
enjoy meeting our clients from all over the globe, and getting their vacations off to a
right start.
